School Meal Assistance Available for Furloughed Families
Households of furloughed employees may be eligible for free or reduced-price meal benefits. If you are furloughed you can apply based on your current household income.
Usually free or reduced-price meal eligibility reflects annual income. However, applications of furloughed employees may reflect the current household situation.
The fastest and most secure way to apply is online. If you prefer, you can pick up a paper application at your student’s school office.
We encourage you to terminate or update free/reduced price status when you are no longer facing economic hardship.
