In our efforts to plan ahead and ensure a smooth testing experience, we are reaching out to share an update regarding a change in the PSAT schedule. The test date for 11th-grade students has been rescheduled from October 9th to the last week of October: 10/28 - 10/31/2024. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we navigate these ongoing challenges.
The PSAT is a valuable opportunity for students to prepare for the SAT while also identifying strengths and areas for growth. Here are some resources to help students get ready for test day:
-
Official PSAT Practice: Use College Board’s PSAT Practice Tests to familiarize yourself with the test format.
-
Khan Academy SAT Prep: Access Khan Academy’s free SAT practice tools to target key areas for improvement.
-
PSAT/NMSQT Student Guide: Find information on test structure, scoring, and preparation tips. The PSAT/NMSQT Student Guide also includes testing rules and information about the National Merit Scholarship Program.
-
Test Day Checklist: Review the College Board's Test Day Checklist to ensure you have everything you need for a successful testing experience.
If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to your school’s assessment coordinator.
Thank you for your flexibility and support in helping ensure a successful PSAT experience for all students!
