The window for in-district transfer requests is open now until February 1. I If you want your student to attend a school other than their neighborhood school, submit a transfer request.
The transfer window is opening a month earlier than in the past. This gives us time to plan accurately for staffing and budgets.
Transfers are approved or denied based upon the categories outlined in Procedure 3132P. Please note, transportation is not provided for transfers, except for transfers for special programs. Find specifics in our transfer procedure.
Submit completed transfer forms to the Student Placement Office:
- Email scanned copy to Student Placement
- Fax to 206-631-3383
- Drop off at the district office (15675 Ambaum Blvd SW, Burien)
Families will be notified of the decision on their requests by the end of March.
